the long farewell bio picture

Welcome!

Thanks for dropping by and looking around! We feel honored you took time to find out more about us!

Let me start from the beginning [just in case you were wondering..] Our names are Chad and Tina Pritchard.  We’ve been happily married for 3 years.  We are best friends who never get tired of each other [never]. We currently live in Atlanta, Georgia with the most awesomest dog ever, Gracie. We love Jesus, good coffee [there's a difference], running, family, thought provoking books, driving with the windows down, sunsets, sunrises, justice, bike rides, long talks, second chances, fantastic movies, romance, great music, meaningful conversations, hope, breakfast, new friendships, old friendships and [obviously] photography.  Our love for photography has really developed out of our love for life.

If you want more information about us, head on over to our main site [here] and check out the info section.

We look forward to getting to know you and if you have questions you can hit the contact section two buttons over on the right. We hope to hear from you soon!

Chad & Tina

Haneezy’s Epic Throwdown Extravaganza

About a month ago we threw a big party to celebrate our daughter turning 1. We may have gone a little over board, but there are two things you need to know about Tina and I: we love to throw parties and we love celebrating God’s graciousness in giving us a daughter.  We decided not to do gifts, but instead raise money for Gospel for Asia to sponsor native missionaries in Asia. We were able to raise $340 to buy some sheep, goats, and bicycle. I had some time the other day to edit them and here are a few of our favorites.

Nam - That party was LEGIT. Thanks for including us... we're grateful to have been able to celebrate little Haneezy and raise some support for Gospel for Asia!January 12, 2012 - 10:37 am

Haneezy

For all of you out there that are judging us because we don’t have more pictures of our daughter, it’s not our fault. I have actually never met a person who hates the camera more than our daughter, seriously. Tina leads a women’s Bible study on Monday nights, so Hannah and I usually hang out in the bedroom. This particular day, she hung out in the bathroom/closet. I grabbed my camera and was able to snag a few good shots. She just turned a year and it’s crazy how big she’s gotten. On a side note, she looooooooooooves YO GABBA GABBA. I’ve found myself still watching even when she hasn’t.

Emz - love these!December 28, 2011 - 9:19 am

Sassy - Love, love,love these pics!January 1, 2012 - 6:32 pm

iris & josh

Here are a few pictures of Iris and Josh.  They are such a sweet couple.  Josh is deploying overseas soon and we wanted him to see a few of their pictures before he leaves.  Thank you for serving our country and allowing us to be a part of your wedding!

JoAnna & Harrison

I could literally take pictures of these two all day long. After their mind-blowing engagement session, I knew their wedding would be of epic proportions. From the custom bow ties, to her J. Crew wedding dress, to the custom Mason jar favors; JoAnna had a hand in everything. They did an amazing job of putting together the perfect Fall wedding. Even more than that, was the way JoAnna and Harrison looked at each other. You could tell they had been longing for this day and it was evident as their closes friends and family gathered around and celebrated their love for each other. Tina and I were honored to be there in celebration with you both!

T - Everything about this is perfection. Including the photographers and their amazing skillzzz!! ~TNovember 4, 2011 - 1:15 pm

kara + andy

Hope everyone is enjoying  their week.  My sweet baby Hannah is napping right now so I thought I would take advantage by posting a much needed blog.  Kara and Andy are so much fun.  When we shot their engagement pictures we were laughing and cutting up the whole time.  It was then we found out that Andy was a baby model. Sorry Andy your secret is out!

Kara and Andy, we had a great time celebrating with you guys and are grateful to call you friends!

Kara and Andy had so many amazing details for their wedding.  Kara went hunting through many thrift stores to find most of her details and it came together wonderfully!  I must add, they looked rather awesome themselves.

kristen - hey tina and chad! where did their wedding take place? it's gorgeous!!October 19, 2011 - 3:35 pm

Lost at the park.

Tina and I are [literally] packing our bags as I write this to go to shoot Jennifer and Eric’s gorgeous wedding in the foothills of Tennessee. We are super excited about the amazing weather coming our way for the next week. I mean, who doesn’t love fall?  Get outside this weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather; picnic’s, runs, patio dinning, reading, or just sit outside because in a month or so we are going to have short, dark, frigid days. That’s why Christmas is in December, because it’s such an ugly month. Now if only we could figure out what to do with January and February…..

I promised to blog and wanted to leave a sneak peek up of Eric and Sophia’s family session we did a few weeks ago.We literally lost track of time while shooting their family. I promise I’ll post more in the weeks to come.

Nam - When you say "ugly" you mean "magical", right? Also, when you use the phrase "figure out what to do with" you're probably trying to say "somehow extend the awesomeness of"... just trying to clarify. ;)October 14, 2011 - 2:38 pm

sophie - This sneak peek definitely calls for more! We love them! Can't wait to see more!! thanks for making the impossible happen and shooting good pictures of our family! ;)October 17, 2011 - 8:55 pm

[Featured]

Let me start off by addressing the elephant in the room; we’re not blogging. It’s not because you’re not important….we really do love all of you. Hold on a little bit longer and we’ll have another blog this week.

Just wanted to share the exciting news that we’ve been featured on the blog, Pretty Little Weddings! Head on over there and leave us some love!

What’s next?

Tina and I were fortunate enough to spend some time with Josh over the summer and take some senior pictures.  It was great time of just talking about future plans and his last year in high school. I remember being in high school and having no clue what I should do, where I should go, or what I should be.  The funny thing is that those same feelings of being unsure of what’s next seem to haunt most of us till we die. Maybe it’s because we put so much stock in what people think, or that we are paralyzed with fear of failing, or maybe it’s just because we are afraid to take risks and we are always looking for that affirmation that isn’t readily given. All of those things have haunted me at one point in time and still do. One thing our culture has done really well is teach us to embrace independence and individualism to the point that we always have to act like we have it all together. I don’t know about you, but I take great comfort in hearing people share their insecurities, fears, and weaknesses. People are drawn to the vulnerability that people share about what they did wrong and what they learned. The last guy most of us need to hear from is the one who has done everything right his whole life. So we find ourselves paralyzed to make decisions because of this fear that has us in a choke hold. Most of us wander around trying to figure out our purpose in life and what we should be doing. I heard a guy talk a few weeks ago about how if we are solely focused on loving God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength and our neighbor as ourselves, then God’s desires will become our desires. Live a life that pleases God; live a godly life. What consumes most of our time reflects what is most important to us; it’s either ourselves or God. What if we were to spend a little less time consumed with ourselves and a little more time consumed with God?  I think we’ll be a little closer to his heart.

I think Josh is one of those guys who gets it. As Tina and I were able to share what we have learned along the way, we were able to just have great dialogue about what really is the most important thing in life. It doesn’t matter about education, money, careers, family, relationships, or status. At the end of the day, they are all endless pursuits. Chase  the One who never ends.

Nam - This lifestyle/senior/portrait shoot is crazy good! Just thought you should know. :)September 2, 2011 - 11:16 am

Kelly + Tim

Kelly’s only request was to limit the amount of “cutesy” pictures….Tim on the other hand wanted more. We tried to sneak a few in, but that Kelly was good [she caught a few of them]. I think we counted 5 or so and we’re pretty sure she’s going to like them [more than she thinks]. Tim’s daily mission is to see how many high-fives he can get from Kelly- today was your day, my friend [I think I counted a good 3 or 4 in there while editing].

Can’t wait for your wedding, it’s going to be oh so cool.
